Mine Cristal
Mine Cristal is located in the Appalachian Mountains at an altitude of 400 meters (1,300 feet), in a pine tree forest with a beautiful view over distant mountains. Since 1989, over 300,000 visitors have discovered the mine and participated in various activities. A seasonal business open June through September.
The mine offers guided tours, a store, a museum, courses, and concerts on crystal musical instruments.

The Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac
The Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac, founded in 1912, numbers a little more than fifty monks living under the Rule of Saint Benedict. Separated from the world, they seek God in the celebration of the liturgy of the Church, in private prayer nourished by meditation of the Bible and in manual as well as intellectual work. They form a community under the direction of an Abbot.
The monks of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac assure their living above all by a cheese-factory, an orchard, a cider-factory, a farm and a store where their products are sold.
The Gregorian mass is celebrated every day at 11.00 a.m.

The Route verte has been under development since 1995. When completed, the bicycle path network will comprise 4,000 kilometers and will link various regions of Québec. You can enjoy it alone, as a family or with friends. Every year, numerous groups organize special outings along portions of the bikeway.
